When a shy woman in a medical boot chases down a thief to recover a stranger’s stolen purse, she unknowingly plays into a scam between two small-time crooks. But the con takes an unexpected turn when they discover the stranger isn’t as innocent as she seemed, and what they’ve stolen might be far stranger than money.
